What's it like to be your own boss? What does it take to get there? And then what? This panel of successful entrepreneurs provides a spectrum of experience, wisdom, and advice for business owners and businesswomen alike

Brenda Hayes-Williams is a speech language pathologist with over 20 years experience in pediatric speech therapy. Brenda Hayes-Williams & Associates is a private practice serving children in six counties in Mississippi, along with several contracts with school districts and Head Start programs. Brenda has also recently started another business with her husband, Enrich Behavioral Health, providing mental health therapy and drug rehabilitation services in Louisiana. She currently serves on the board of Friends of Children Hospital and is a member of the Junior League of Jackson, for whom she is chairing Mistletoe Marketplace 2019.

After her freshman year at Mississippi State University, self-made cosmetics guru Amy Head left school and worked odd jobs until starting her own business, Amy Head Studios, in September 1987. What started in a small two-room studio has now expanded into a nationwide online, wholesale, and retail cosmetics line, Amy Head Cosmetics, with studios in both Ridgeland and Oxford.

Leigh created Snapshot Publishing 13 years ago and has developed and implemented many successful products under the Snapshot Publishing umbrella, continuously seeking out new opportunities where she knows her company will have success. Leigh is actively involved in the community she has served as President of Friends of Children’s Hospital, where she has also served as a board member for over ten years. She was an active member of the Junior League of Jackson, and a member of the Mistletoe Marketplace steering committee.
